Though I Am an Inept Villainess (Episode 1)

20 years ago, I would never have imagined that I would be typing this blog entry today. I, a 38-year-old, am still passionate about anime/manga and video games in 2026. 

In the year 2006, I was an 18-year-old high school graduate, excited about entering college for the first time. Well, the excitement did not last long, thanks to the personal circumstances in my life that interfered with my excitement, dreams, and hopes. If it weren't for those circumstances, I would have become a novelist and have written a couple of novels by now. It is a cloudy day. No wonder I feel down with these personal thoughts of mine as I am listening to 2000s music on YouTube. 

Three weeks left of Summer break. Originally, I wanted to focus on my crossover fanfics, but the Star Fox remake (Switch 2) came out, and now I have a non-crossover AU named Startasia. (Originally a crossover. The irony.) So, I guess I did something this summer. I also joined some Star Fox-focused fan Discord servers.

Two months left until the Tokyo Game Show 2026. Level 5 will be there, and hopefully I can finally get the release date and month for the new Professor Layton game! Hopefully, they do not postpone the game's release for the second time. 

My mind has been full of questions, confusion, and brainrot lately. What am I even doing in my life at this point? I suppose I should get back to writing and reading...

Scarlet (The Holy Grail of Eris -Episode 5-)

In the past,  I used Grammarly to write a research paper and essay for my American History and American Politics classes respectively. I'm no longer have my American History research paper, but I still have my essays for American Politics. I got a B on the American History research paper and A or B (Don't remember) on my American Politics essays.

2025 Thoughts

Smag, Princess Peach and Chris (SMG4: Saving Princess Peach)

                                                                                              This year was a mixture of a good and bad. Surprising, I did very well in my spring and fall college classes. I dealt with the passing of my grandmother and aunt. I am still grieving them. College work and personal life had kept me so busy that I hardly have the time and moviation to watch / rewatch new and old anime and read / reread new and old manga and light novels. My motivation for gaming definitely went to Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, a remaster of my favorite Final Fantasy title.

                   Honestly, the only thing I am looking forward to this year is Professor Layton and the New World if Level 5 doesn't delay the new Professor Layton title like they did with Decapolice that is. I don't really have New Year's resolutions because I usually fail at keeping them. So,  I figured I'd do something new if I felt like it. The only anime I'm going to watch are the Apothecary Diaries and My Happy Marriage 2nd season and catch up with/rewatch old ones. I'll try to work something for my mental and physical health.
